Acoustic Coconut Fiber Panel is a sustainable-material-driving project. It starts with the research of a natural material, one of the byproducts of the food industry: coconut fiber. Based on the property of fibrosis, we establish the ideation of using coconut fiber as the alternative material for sound-absorbing products. Throughout researching on the manufacturing process and experimenting prototypes, we decided to design an acoustic panel which can be assembled in interior space. Then we turn the project into the form study. We study the factors of designing the acoustic board from the specific texture of professional sound-absorbing products. Then I create the connection between the undulant form with the location where the coconuts are from the cozy coast of South Asia. Finally, it turns out a natural, relaxing, and breathing style acoustic panel.

STUDIO ACOUSTIC PANELS

Glass wool blanket is a roll blanket product made of uniform and slender glass fiber and environmentally friendly thermosetting binder with a special process. It has a certain flexibility and can keep good thermal insulation performance in high or low temperature environments. 

As required value of thermal resistance, different kinds of high quality blankets can be made according to different density, the contact surface of the insulation material is soft and flexible, which can better fit the duct wall, avoid gaps, and greatly reduce the heat and cold loss of the duct wall. In addition, there are few seams between the blanket insulation materials, which can effectively avoid hidden trouble caused by seams and reduce the loss of materials and accessories.

ADVANCE NOISE BARRIER

Noise barrier, is a panel that is placed between the noise source and the noise affected area in order to provide sound insulation. These products, also called noise barriers, are often used to prevent the spread of traffic noise along lines such as roads, bridge

Fire cement

Fire Cement is a ready mixed, air drying, silicate based material for use as a joint filler and adhesive where high temperature resistance, up to 1250o C, is required. The product dries to a hard, cement-like material with good adhesion to many surfaces.

Fire Cement is a ready-to-use putty which is heat resistant up to 1250oc. It can also be used to repair firebricks. Fire cement when dry is a non-flexible solid sealant (unfortunately “high temperature” flexible silicone sealants degrade above 300 degree Centigrade which is above the normal operating temperature of your stove). The expansion and contraction of your metal stove as it heats up and cools down will inevitably crack any fire cement around joints on the flue and stove pipe

Fire brick

Refractory bricks or fire bricks are the type of bricks which can withstand high temperature as a construction material. The color of fire bricks is usually white, or yellowish white, and they weigh about 3 kg each. They must have a high fusion point.

Fire clay is used for making this type of bricks. This clay can resist high temperature without undergoing any appreciable change in structural properties like melting or softening
